A week ago my friend Eva from the blog Four Leaf Clover came to visit me and since the weather was sunny and warm, we did a little picnic in the meadow up the hill. It was so great that I must share some pictures and hopefully inspire you to go out for some picnic fun as well!
Just sitting barefoot on the gras, eating yummy snacks, having cheerful conversations and enjoying the sounds and views of nature… it’s bliss!
We were surrounded by buzzing bees and chirping crickets and with the weather being so clear, we were lucky to even see the alps in the distance. How cool is that? Unfortunately you can hardly see them in the pictures (they’re aaaall the way in the back).
In case you wonder what exactly we brought for snacking, this is what we had (all plant-based):
- Creamy potato salad
- Falafel
- Grapes
- Cashew Crisp Balls
- Soft Wrap Bites with creamy herb spread, avocado, radishes and cucumber
- Lemon-Ginger-Mint Ice Tea (sweetened with maple sirup)
So when will you have your next picnic? I hope soon! The summer is just getting started…

I normally only bring a small snack, because my bags are full with botanical fieldguides and binoculars, watercolors and sketchbooks…but maybe, maybee I should buy a bigger bag 🙂
Those wraps look so amazing and yet easy to prepare. love it.
