4 months. Wow. That’s quite a long time since I’ve posted my last update on here or any of my social media accounts. Sorry for disappearing! I bet I missed out on a lot of great posts from my blog- and Insta-friends and I need to do some catching up badly.
The reason for taking a break was that my life has been a bit of a rollercoaster-ride lately. Not to bore you with too many details, but earlier this year I found myself in a difficult situation, not feeling my true happy self. It was time for change and that meant letting go of certain parts of my life, take a leap of faith and simply try to find back to my own flow. This involved moving back to Hamburg, after having lived in Switzerland for the last 3 and a half years.
It was and still is an eventful time of my life and has taught me quite a few things (about myself). One big thing that I learned over the last few months, was to listen more to my heart and stop overthinking things. I started to embrace change and be more spontaneous and intuitive. And funnily, from that moment on, everything just seemed to fall into place again, almost by itself.
It was a great life lesson for me, because I’m usually not the kind of person who goes for change easily. Now I know that it is a very important part of life and that it can surprise you with lots of new and wonderful things. Also, once again, I understood how important it is to surround yourself with people you love.
Though I feel like I needed this little time-out, I did miss blogging and all the social media exchange, so I’m super happy to be “back” with a fresh mindset and new inspiration.
Right now I’m enjoying my last few days of family vacation on Ibiza, hence all the pictures. 😉 We are staying at a beautiful bay at the north, called San Vincente. I actually didn’t know how beautiful this island was, until I came here. It’s so green and the water is so clean!
Once I’m back home I look forward to share more of what is happening lately. There will be some Greenderella bag updates, eco-friendly makeovers of my new apartment, more plastic-free blogposts, reviews of vegan/eco spots in Hamburg and of course new recipes! I can’t wait!
Much Love,
Franzi
