My mom has been asking me for another blogpost about Fritzi and Jule for weeks now. The two actually live with her in Hamburg, so she can basically look at their cute faces all day long, but that’s just not enough (understandably, I mean look at them!). So this blog post is for you Mama (and everyone else who has been waiting to hear news from Fritzi and Jule)! 😀
In the last blog post about the two I wrote about how Jule became our new family member and it has been simply wonderful since. Not being able to see them every day is hard for me, but that makes me appreciate the time we have together even more so, whenever I visit them in Hamburg.
Jule and Fritzi get along perfectly. Fritzi is like a big brother. He is the adventurous one, whereas Jule is a girly girl – a bit more careful and sensitive, but she is learning to become more adventurous too, imitating whatever Fritzi does. Like picking sticks from the water and taking them apart.
The other day we took them to the lake to swim and I believe it was the first time ever, that Jule went into the water. She was not familiar with swimming so the moment she didn’t feel ground under her feet anymore, she came jumping back, looking more like a dolphin than a dog! 😀 So far, she hasn’t tried to really swim, but I’m sure that she will do so very soon. Fritzi loooves swimming. It’s one of his favorites things to do!
When the two are still wet after coming home from a walk, they get their crazy 5 minutes, running around and chasing each other!
But once they dried of and had their food, they go right into sleepy mode.
While Fritzi likes to cuddle for only about 5 minutes (then he can’t take it anymore… a real boy! haha), Jule loooves to cuddle. She is the cuddle queen I would say. Nothing is better than getting kisses and snuggling up with her humans.
One morning something funny happened. We had two left over bread rolls that we gave to Fritzi and Jule. After few minutes, I noticed that Jule was still running around with hers and when I looked closer, I saw that it was stuck in her mouth. I guess she wanted to take a too big of a first bite!
Well, they both love to eat! What’s also cute… when each of them is finished with their bowl of food, they switch bowls to see if the other one left something and give it a last good lick. As if there is a competition! ; )
We are so lucky to have Fritzi and Jule in our lives. They bring so much joy and a whole lot of love, I tell you! And it’s so much fun to watch them play together, which they do often. They make us laugh and warm our hearts every day.
Do you also have an animal friend that you can’t live without anymore?
